That’s why we're on the look out for an Inventory Analyst to join our team. 

It's essential that you have a good understanding of ABC stock analysis to help us identify the most important items in our product portfolio so we can prioritise their management. Naturally, you'll be expected to have a good understanding of modern stock control systems , be proficient with Excel and able to analyse data and make informed recommendations. 

This role will be based at our headquarters in Marlow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure inventory is forecast to minimise risk, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled on time.
  • Manage and control inventory stock counting/inventory accuracy checks/WIP audits.
  • Establish and lead a monthly inventory review with Vice Presidents.
  • Recommend inventory strategy including Safety Stock / SIOP classifications /  ABC analysis / finished goods stocking policy.
  • Inventory master data maintenance within MRP system.
  • Support & deputise for the logistics manager as required.

Person Specification:

  • A proven track record of improving stock accuracy and managing cycle count audit programs.
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing inventory control position with responsibility for maintaining high levels of stock accuracy.
  • Good understanding and practical knowledge of modern stock control systems.
  • Ability to multitask, time manage, work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of MRP Systems Inventory Management Processes.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Confidence to identify, initiate and implement business efficiencies.

It would be advantageous if you have:

  • Knowledge of safety stock; to make quantity recommendations against our current inventory (in order to reduce the risk of items going out of stock)
  • Experience gained from working in a manufacturing environment
