Passive V/UHF blade antenna – 12-1002-1

Passive V/UHF blade antenna – 12-1002-1

The 12-1002 is a passive V/UHF blade antenna designed to provide communications in the frequency bands 108 MHz to 174 MHz and 225 MHz to 400 MHz. The antenna is intended for use in general subsonic airborne applications. The 12-1002 is configured as a top loaded broadband fan monopole radiating element fed via a susceptance compensation network to optimize VHF frequency gain. Frequency dependent resistive loading is utilised to ensure compliance with the specified return loss requirement.
