RADALT Patch Antenna – 20-21

RADALT Patch Antenna – 20-21

Type 20-21 is a radar altimeter patch antenna (RADALT). The antenna is designed to exhibit the electrical characteristics of ARINC 707 and is a conformal design. The antenna operates with a broadside linear polarisation coverage in the Radar Altimeter (RADALT) band to allow transmission and reception of microwave signals from two adjacent antennas.

  • Conformal
  • Lightweight
  • Isolation ≤ 75dB at 20 inch spacing
  • Beam width ≤40 deg (H-plane), ≤45 deg (E-plane)
  • Side Lobe < -40dB
